All applications to the MTSA program are made online by using the link to the application page. Each applicant is required to submit the following materials as part of the online application:
- Transcripts showing a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university (initially, informal transcripts or Xerox copies of originals may be utilized).
- Statement of Purpose
- A current Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
- Three professional references
- Students from countries where English is not the native language must provide IELTS scores.
- If you can demonstrate two years employment experience in a transportation safety role, that is also strongly considered.
- There is no GRE requirement to be considered for admission into the MTSA program.
The application package, including each of the items above, should be completed as soon as possible prior to the start of the term you wish to enter to allow sufficient time for review and processing.
Tuition and Fees
The tuition is the same price for all applicants, regardless of their location in the world. Current tuition and fees are available at https://www.clemson.edu/finance/student-financials/tuition-fees/. Select the "Go to Online" option from the right column. Then, locate MTSA-Transportation Safety Administration in the pull-down menu.
Applicants are encouraged to explore if their employer (company, agency, or DOT, etc.) offers full or partial tuition reimbursement plans.
